The exciting launch of the Penarth Pavilion Youth Forum took place on the 17th November 2008 and the project is already looking like a great success following the award of nearly £2500 from a volunteer awards scheme.
The Penarth Pavilion Youth Project are pleased to announce the sale of Penarth Pavilion Rock - Never seen before!! Produced on the famous Brighton Pier using natural ingredients and traditional techniques. Members of the forum chose the colour and flavour (Mint) and also designed its label. Early reports are that it tastes great! Also recently the PPYP t-shirts have been produced so look out for them being sported on the streets of Penarth.

We are currently looking for volunteers to give as little as 2 hours a month in order to promote the project.
More volunteer dates will be announced soon. Please check back again or contact us for more information.
All sessions are between 10am and 4pm and last 2 hours per session. Volunteering is a great way to show your interest in community issues and will look great on your CV or UCAS form. Volunteering hours also count towards the Duke of Edinburgh Award and Welsh Bacheloriate qualifications.
To get involved or for more information, please contact Kate Garner - kategarner86@hotmail.com.
