The Rider (2018)
Dir. Chloé Zhao
104 mins | Colour | English | 15 (TBC)
After suffering a near fatal head injury, a young cowboy undertakes a search for new identity and what it means to be a man in the heartland of America.
The Rider is a thought-provoking, moving and unique study of masculinity in a community where toughness is the most respected character trait. The film stars Brady Jandreau, his real family members and friends, bringing a documentary reality to the story.
