Nick Treharne and Tom Scott

  • Doors open 7pm

  • Performance starts 8pm

  • Free Entry

Guitarists Nick Treharne and Tom Scott will be adding their own musical buzz to the already polished atmosphere that has been created at the Penarth Pier Pavilion on the evening of Friday 4th October.

A self taught guitarist, Nick was heavily influenced in his early years by the songs of Paul Simon and later by the rich fingerpicking guitar style of the late Isaac Guillory. His music is often delicate to the ear yet strong in melody, a style that has won him many fans over the years.

Having originally studied guitar with a private tutor, Tom has learned to develop his technique over a wide variety of genres. His sound knowledge of music theory gained at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, matched with his ability to draw on different styles of music, has proved invaluable when composing new work.

Since joining forces in the summer of 2017, the pair has been writing intricate musical melodies for acoustic guitar and has developed a wide and varied repertoire comprising many original pieces as well as some more familiar popular songs.
