Howl at the Pier Comedy Night

Howl Comedy

After a sellout launch night, Howl is back at the Pavilion for another evening of laughter and lagers (non-alliterative alcohol also available).

Here's April's line up:

Multi-award-winning Welsh comedian Matt - as seen on BBC2’s Stand Up at BBC Wales and BBC3’s This Country - has generated a huge buzz on the circuit over the past few years with his unique brand of well-crafted gags and acerbic delivery earning him high praise from audiences and critics alike.

The deadpan stand-up and WINNER of Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year performs all across the comedy scene. He's provided tour support for the likes of Joe Lycett, John Robins, Elis James as well as Tig Notaro, played the comedy tent at Latitude festival and critically-acclaimed solo shows at Machynlleth Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe.

"A properly original comedy mind" (The Guardian)
"An instinctive comedic talent" (The Metro)

Sunjai Arif quickly wins over audiences with his confidence and warm personality. He is an engaging comedy storyteller and covers tales about his family, speeding tickets and extremist rodents.

Experience the sheer joy of seeing Sunjai share his memories of nostalgic pop culture in a way only he could imagine. Recently supporting Tom Green on tour, Sunjai is a solid comedy act who oozes charm and will leave you grinning from ear to ear.
Winner, Bath Comedy Festival New Act 2017
Runner up, South Coast Comedian of the Year 2016
Shortlisted for the 2017 Guide Awards: Best Comedian

Sarah Bridgeman is a stand-up and writer who has been performing comedy all over the UK for a number of years. She is a warm and friendly act whose observations take the audience in unexpected and hilarious directions. A regular contributor to Radio Wales, Sarah was in 2018 a finalist in the prestigious WUSA Stand Up competition.
