Volunteering at Penarth Pier Pavilion

The Pavilion is a wonderful place to volunteer; it’s a very sociable environment and a great way to meet new people.
— Fiona, volunteer since 2014

Why should I volunteer at Penarth Pier Pavilion?
Volunteering is a great way to build new friendships, develop your skills, and to support your local community, and what better place to enjoy these experiences than in our beautifully-restored Pavilion on the seafront! As a volunteer at Penarth Pier Pavilion, you will be playing a key role in keeping local heritage alive and preserving a local landmark.

What can I do?
Running a multi-functional building such as the Pavilion requires a wide variety of skills and support, and our volunteers are central to this. Current opportunities for volunteers include:

·      Welcome host

·      Maintenance team

·      Cinema and Event Support

We are always looking for volunteers who have different skills and interests that would benefit the Pavilion, so feel free to let us know if there is something specific you would like to do to help!

How much time do I need to commit?
We appreciate any amount of time that you can offer to support the Pavilion. Most regular roles require around 4 hours a week, but these hours can be flexible to suit your schedule.
